Re: Panasonic TC-55CS560C (Dead No Standby or Blinks)
As I said earlier, this is the same board as the one that came out of the tv. Only difference was the 14 pin connection on new board vs 16 pin connection on the old board. The new board with 14 pin connector did have empty slots for pins 15 and 16. I could've just swapped the connectors, but don't trust my solder skills enough. The jumper was a much easier fix for someone with my skill set.
The screenshot below from PDF you posted even lists both the TC-55CS560C and TC-55CS540C. I could be wrong here,...

Re: Panasonic TC-55CS560C (Dead No Standby or Blinks)
I'd prefer to call it an educated guess. Wouldn't have had a clue without the technical manual posted by dskall.Last edited by tbj12; 05-03-2017, 05:46 PM.

Re: Panasonic TC-55CS560C (Dead No Standby or Blinks)
Decided to just go with the jumper from pin 13 to 15 and the picture is perfect now. Just gotta hope it holds up.Last edited by tbj12; 05-03-2017, 05:59 PM.

Re: Panasonic TC-55CS560C (Dead No Standby or Blinks)
It is the correct board it's just from a different model tv. I just pulled the board out of the tv and there are empty slots for pins 15 and 16. Looks like I just need to swap the connectors from the old board to the new one. That's not an easy task with my soldering skills though.
What's the difference between PWMA and PWMB?...

Re: Panasonic TC-55CS560C (Dead No Standby or Blinks)
Decided to double check and it turns out I didn't buy the correct board this is for a TC-55CS540C. Foolish mistake on my part.
Here is a diagram that might help. A02 is the plug for the main board....Last edited by tbj12; 05-03-2017, 10:48 AM.

Re: Panasonic TC-55CS560C (Dead No Standby or Blinks)
I got the new board today and the TV is working, however all isn't right yet. The main plugin for the main board isn't the same. The original has 16 pins and this one only has 14. It's plugged in and working but the TV is brighter on on the top half than it is the bottom half. I suspect the 2 extra pins are the issue. Any ideas?

Re: Panasonic TC-55CS560C (Dead No Standby or Blinks)
I'm not entirely sure that's the standby voltage I'm testing, there are no markings on the board. That pin isn't the only one with flucuating voltages on the PS, but all are steady once I disconnect the main board. I'll test with the old power supply later this evening....

Re: Panasonic TC-55CS560C (Dead No Standby or Blinks)
I'll have a look at that now. This TV was in fact manufactured in 2015.
That was the technical guide for my TV. Based on the trouble shooting steps for no power and no led it looks like I need a new main board. I've found one on ebay for $25 so I'll order that and hope for the best....Last edited by tbj12; 04-27-2017, 04:37 PM.

Re: Panasonic TC-55CS560C (Dead No Standby or Blinks)
No markings on the back. Solder connections all look good and I've already replaced the power supply board.
The stby voltage is steady at 10.5 when I disconnect the main board.
The second picture is the back of the main board. Not sure if it helps at all....Last edited by tbj12; 04-27-2017, 01:26 PM.

Panasonic TC-55CS560C (Dead No Standby or Blinks)
Pulled this unit out of an e-waste bin. I've already replaced the power supply and still have no sign of life whatsoever. No blink codes, no standby light and no backlight. I've included some pics.
I've got a multimeter and ready for testing if anyone has any advice on what I should be testing....

Re: Panasonic TC P50S30 Blinks 7 Times
I didnt pay anything for it so its not a big deal. We have a local e-waste bin that ive been pulling tv's out of and repairing. I'll probably just stick to the ones with fried caps and other power supply issues.
Thanks for the help anyway. Im sure you will see me around here again in the near future.

Re: Panasonic TC P50S30 Blinks 7 Times
So i tightened all screws put everything back together (or so i thought) tv actually turned on for a quick second and then i heard pop, smelled burn. I realized i had forgotten to reinstall the vfg bolts. I now have a 14 blink code instead of 7.

Re: Panasonic TC P50S30 Blinks 7 Times
I appreciate the help.
I went ahead and removed the Vfg bolts and reconnected ss33 and the light stayed on solid. I did get a constant buzzing noise when trying to turn the tv on, sounds as though it's coming from the SC board. I didn't get this buzzing sound with ss33 disconnected. Only had a minute to look at it this morning, I'll have another look when I get home this afternoon....Last edited by tbj12; 05-02-2016, 06:23 AM.

Panasonic TC P50S30 Blinks 7 Times
Having some problems with the Panasonic plasma television, model #TC P50S30.
The front led blinks 7 times and set does not turn on. When I disconnect the SD, SU and SS33 ribbon cable the blinking stops and the set tries to turn on. I've tried leaving just the SU and the SD boards connected one at a time, but always end up with the 7 blinks. Disconnecting SD, SU boards and SS33 ribbon cable is the only way I get the light to stop blinking.
Edit: I also have a jumper in SC50.
I'm still not sure what needs to be replaced.Last edited by tbj12; 05-01-2016, 12:44 PM.
