Grant from London here, originally from Canberra, Australia (who'd have thunk it?)

I'm a long time dabbler in electronics, mostly simple repairs - had a job some time back repairing switch PSUs and clock circuits in old faulty 286s (yes, that long ago) but a lot of my knowledge has faded with the years.

I'm here right now because I've got some Alesis monitor speaker PSUs to fix, but also as bringing my general electronics repair knowledge up to some kind of reasonable level has...
