Well there was no virus, but you were right about the setting the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Did a fair amount of research on the matter, but google (and this forum) seemed to do the trick. I've switched browsers, called my internet provider, messed around with the modem... Why am i constantly experiencing 'DNS server not responding'? -
