i am a new member and this is my first post. This post was written after a search in the forum for the information i need. Unfortunately i am doing something wrong so that is why i need your help / knowledge.

As known resistors can be identified from the band colors ( there are plenty calculators online for the lazy ones here).

I found this burnt resistor (?) on a power supply board of a Benq Monitor G2110W and i want to replace it. But i cant calculate the value of it. If i am seeing right that is a 5 band resistor with...

I would like to introduce myself also. I am 29, Greek but i live in Germany the last 3 years. I have studied Computer Engineering but the last months i am interested on electronics. As IT supporter it is very helpful to have some basic electronic skills.
