Hello my name is Bob. I am a retired electrical engineer. Lots of education but little practical experience. I have been using the forum for about a week to trouble shoot a dead Vizio TV. I can see that this forum will be very helpful in fixing other electronics.

I am having the same problem with my Vizio M470NV as bjhunnicutt did. It will not turn on, just has the Vizio logo on. I followed the instructions you gave through post 13 of this thread. When I measured the voltages on the power board all the 5V pins measured 5V but all the 12V pins only measured 9V. Any suggestions on what to do next?Leave a comment:
