    I had the same problem, but only after some time. At first I could turn it on with fan spinning but no screen. Later it was like you described above, don't know what happend.

    But now I could completely recover this machine by flashing MBX_269.rar, thank you!

    BTW: Before erasing the flash, I made a complete dump of its contents. Is it possible to recover the SLIC tables from this dump?...

    Hi guys!

    I have a broken mbx-269, too.
    I can turn it on. The Fan spins and the power led lights up. Charging indicator lights up, too. It doesn't seem to start up, but its trying to. You can hear quiet pops from the speaker like twice a second. Looks like its constantly resetting.
    What should I check?
