    Samsung PS85C7000YF

    Hi Guys,

    Can some one please help with a purple,red line only noticeable on white back grounds. I have just replaced a copacetic on the Ymain upper board thanks to Tom. I have checked the Vs and Va, i had to up the Vs to 210V as per the label on the back of the tv and it has helped with clarity and depth only.
    Are there other adjustments on other boards that may require inspections.

    HI Sgottabeford,

    Have you had any luck with finding out the issue.. I too have this but on top of my screen.
    I have made adjustments to the SMPS board as it was low, however no luck. I just fixed a blown capacitor on my Ymain upper board and i now have my picture back.. If i hear of anything is will let you know.

    Hi Tom,

    It is now fixed and almost working perfectly thank you for guiding me to this location. I have attached a photo of the affending capacitor and the replacement fix. I have a haze at the top of the screen I think I have seen in the posts somewhere about adjusting the Ve-Vs to increase there values witch should take this away. Fingers crossed. Thanks again. 😁👍.     Hi Tom,

    I have this exact model with an identical issue! Any chance you can give me some direction or tips in how you diagnosed & fixed this fault? I'm not particularly electronically minded so any suggestion's are appreciated!

    I have this exact issue with this exact model! Do you have pictures or can you give me any tips with how to repair this fault? I'm not particularly electronically minded so any guidance would be appreciated!
