SOS...!
Hoping some1 can spare some expertise on this problem... I have a LG 55LW6500-TA and was watching TV last week. All of a sudden the picture turned into pink thin moving horizontal lines across the entire screen. (Unless there's an external reset button I'm not aware of ) I'm unable to reset the tv as I can't see the menu. On the weekend I took the back off and had a look at the boards - couldn't see anything 'burnt' or any domed capacitors.There was what appeared to look like a 'clot' on one of the ribbons leading from the T-con board to the panel (bottom of the Tv) so I softly...

Hey y'all.. my name's Dani from Melbourne Australia... Jack of all trades & master of none. During the day I work in Child Protection and after hours slap on the tool belt.
