Re: acer aspire 4755 shorted
buzz pu4001 ( source ) with all of the PL
if it is shorted to any of the PL
remove upper mosfet of that PL Rail and try again if the resistance seems normal...

Re: acer aspire V3 771G VA70
how much is the power consumption on bench power supply
without turning on
adapter + battery
and compare it with adapter only
( without turning on )

Re: No signal + 3VS_LCD on ASUS X451CA.
I think you could try to remove q4602, and try to "jumper" or whatever its name is from drain to source
and are you sure that the notebook is in "normal state" unless for it's display?

Please check pin 48 for sio chip
me_ac_present
and resolder sp2219 if it is available to be soldered

Re: Laptop only charges when off
How is the charging indicator in windows?
plugged in not charging / plugged in charging
and make sure the adaptor is suitable
check the amperage of the adaptor output ( sticker on the adaptor )
and also check for the amperage input for the notebook ( sticker below the notebook )
or you could test with other tested good adaptor friend.
I suspect the adaptor amperage is lower than it needed to be "charge while power on state"...

would you mind sharing the boardview?
I have the 2.0 & 2.1 version
but it seems to be differrent from yours ( based on the image of your post )...

Re: ACER Notebook Spin 7
nah,just little bit of coincidence maybe
because if this condition,
Drain = 19 Volt
Source = 5.5 Volt
Gate = 5.5 Volt
then the laptop won't power on with "adaptor" only...

Re: ACER Notebook Spin 7
do you mean after removing pu4402, the drain is 5.5v?
please check it, because after removing the pu4402, the source should not be 5.5v ( unless the notebook can not be turn on "with adaptor only")
or you could also check after removing pu4402 measure pl4401 "same value as drain of pu4402
if it is true after removing pu4402, the drain is 5.5v,measure pl4401 " which should be the same value 5.5v"
please replace pu4402 with P-channel mosfet
good luck...

Re: ACER Notebook Spin 7
as for the schematic, I think it is correct, although from datasheet shows that adaptor fet and bat fet should be N-channel, but the function has been converted through pq4401? "just deduction"...

Re: ACER Notebook Spin 7
try to remove pu4402 and try with adaptor
does it still have 19v in drain?
if it still remain the same, remove PL4401 and check the voltage on pr4417 ( on adaptor )Last edited by zhang; 06-23-2019, 05:35 AM.
