Need help identifying SMC
Hey all. I'm trying to figure out what this component is by the identifiers but for whatever reason no combination of these letters and numbers I've tried has shown up as a match. Ive tried google, mouser, digikey, datasheet archives, and still nothing. Any hints on how to properly translate this?...

Re: vending control board
Correct. I am getting around 12VAC from the transformers to the board but there is no display showing on the LCD at all. The large caps I recently replaced, but i think there is one smaller cap directly beside the AC input that I removed but have not replaced tho I do have it ready to install. There isn't anything on the board showing that caps positive polarity side like there usually is and I'm not sure at the moment if it is directly connected to the neutral or if there is a diode in the path or not. The fuse from the transformer was blown when I received...

vending control board
Morning guys. I'm trying to find information about this control board for a wall mounted vending machine by slim line designs. I've tried asking the manufacturer but they want 600$ for a new one. They called it the LF-80 control board. I see similar looking boards on ebay but none just alike. I need some guidance on schematics, 1 to 1 replacements, part numbers, references, or any other info on locating a solution for getting this machine up and running. Thanks...

Re: USB stick data recovery
That is the 8GB version yes and I do have that one currently. There are obvious differences in the placement of certain caps and resistors on each that I'm uncertain of what their function is. It would be more than just replacing the nand and controller chip. it would be around 8 or so other components being swapped around to make them match

Re: USB stick data recovery
I should also clarify that when i first started doing this, I was attempting freehand with no optics. Now that I have access to a microscope I see a lot of what i missed.

No I believe that is a different one. Re: USB stick data recovery
That was what i first attempted months ago. There are some missing or misplaced caps that I tried replacing from another usb of a different model and now I have no reference to go off of. Also I believe there may be a short or open on the traces sandwiched inside the pcb. At this point I would rather know for certain where the signals are going than to guess and possibly corrupt the data.

Re: USB stick data recovery
Certantly. Attached is the USB in question. Tried to take pictures through my microscope which didn't turn out great but appears the labeling says Phison PS2251-32CF-F UG1007 AKK2M.022...

USB stick data recovery
Good morning everyone, I'm currently working on doing data recovery on a Patriot Xporter XT Boost 32 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive, model number:PEF32GUSB. The end of the USB stick was broken when the owner dropped a heavy object on it while it was plugged into the computer tower. I would normally just purchase a replacement of the exact same model and just replace the controller and NAND chips but this USB was discontinued and hard to come by. I'm hoping someone has access to a schematic of this so i can just rebuild the front section with a breadboard. Or if any of you know of any other USB sticks...

Re: Phillip's model 52pfl7422d/37 chassis Q523.1U_L service manual needed
But while I apologize for being short I don't for the treatment
I clearly ask for a schematic and even give the board part number and say that im trying to find components. Had you not read my opening paragraph you might not have known that....

Re: Phillip's model 52pfl7422d/37 chassis Q523.1U_L service manual needed
Look I've been on the phone an online for hours looking for the schematic only to have TV repair professionals tell me that "no one does component level repair anymore" and "robots put those small components on there so I can't help you". I've read through the Q523.1U_L manual not seeing anything about 52pfl722d/37 or 3104.303.50842 mentioned anywhere. I exhausted every legit way to find it without posting here. I'm tired, I'm frustrated, I'm confused, and I'm doing this all at work on...

Re: Phillip's model 52pfl7422d/37 chassis Q523.1U_L service manual needed
All the information the mods asked for were included in my post and I thoroughly describe the type of information I was looking for. If that isn't enough to have the first reply be somewhat respectful then I'm at a loss. I'll wait for someone polite to answer my inquiry. Thanks again...

Re: Phillip's model 52pfl7422d/37 chassis Q523.1U_L service manual needed
If you are talking about the service manual for the Q523.1 then thank you for telling me but the layout has nothing indicating what components are on the board or schematic. I've been repairing electronics for 9 years. Don't patronize me when I've already called Phillip's and my local tv repair people, the forums, shopjimmy and just about exhausted every resource available before posting on this thread. Please save your snarky comment for someone who deserve it. Thanks

Phillip's model 52pfl7422d/37 chassis Q523.1U_L service manual needed
I'm trying to repair the SSB board on my Phillip's 52" Tv that all the HDMI ports don't work. I discovered what looks like a voltage regulator with capacitors surrounding it blown off and discolored. The Ceramic capacitors and what appears to be voltage regulator have no part numbers on it so I can repair. I part number for the SSB is 3104.303.50842-D. I'll add a photo of the spot in question but more need the schematic so I can get the correct components to replace. All help greatly appreciated...Last edited by reddsta87; 06-26-2018, 10:19 AM.

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello I'm Steve-the-pirate. I repair electronics (non pc and much older) industrially but I'm getting comfortable enough in my abilities that i'm taking larger steps with educating myself on computer repair. Thanks for the assistance. You rock!
