when i apply power, and hit the power button, the red light blinks/flashes 4 times slowly as to normal power up, then goes away, but tv picture does not even blink. on the power board there is a small circuit board that has a little led green illuminated at all times. just more amplifying info!

Hello friends, i have read a lot of the related forum threads... here is my issue. TV was dead, no stand by lights. Replaced a bad fuse and a bulging cap. in the power board. no I have the stand by light, when i press power the red light goes away and the relay clicks but the tv stays black.i can hear the normal plasma hum sound. i have check the some of the voltage readings at "stand by pins "and get 5v. but when i test the pin that reads 12v get a nominal .7volt... i can see any other damage on this board. is there anything else i can check or should I just replace the power board?...

Hello friends. I like to try to fix everything, im young @ electronics repair. i have solder, basic electrical and some electronic knowledge from life and work learning curves! mostly my problem child is my samsung plasma. she has been thru 3-4 different moves with me for the past 10 yrs or so I think at least 4 cap changes and multiple fuses! Hope fully i can pick up a few tricks and get my living room back together. TV is not happy with me right now and is being stubborn!!
