Re: VIZIO XVT3D650SV T-Con board Causes LEDs to turn off. HELP!
Hey guys, Sorry for the delayed response as I left for work for a couple months. While trouble shooting I ended up frying the main board ( I think). Lesson learned be very careful when troubleshooting with power on! Thank everyone for the help though! I ended up just parting it out. Onto my next project which is converting a 52" Sharp LCD to LED. Wish me luck.

Re: Sharp Aquos LC-46D64U stand by with new boards!
I should also mention that I did replace the power board with same results. I have unplugged all boards from the power supply board except the main board. All with the same results... not really sure how to check the inverter boards

Re: Sharp Aquos LC-46D64U stand by with new boards!
Not sure if anyone is still on here... I have the 52" version. Nothing bit a blinking green LED. Can do the input and volume down button while powering it up and it actually comes on for a split second and I see an image. Then clicks and turns off to blinking green light.... possible reflow??? Not even sure what that is or how to do this. I am handy with soldering though. Any ideas?

Re: Sharp lc-52d64u flashing green power LED, won't turn on
Any update on this?? I have the same model (lc-52d64u). Flashing green power LED. i replaced the power board with the same result. I can use Vol- and Input to turn it on in service mode and I actually get a picture for about 5-10 seconds. Then i hear a relay and it kicks back off. I unplugged both inverters and tried the same sequence with the same result.

VIZIO XVT3D650SV T-Con board Causes LEDs to turn off. HELP!
Hey guys, so I was give a VIZIO XVT3D650SV 65" tv. The indicator light blinks for awhile upon initially plugging it in. After it finishes what i believe is its boot sequence I can push the power button and the indicator light turns from amber to white signalling that its on. However I get no picture no backlight. I can press the power button again and the indicator light wont change until unplugged. I pulled the tv apart and noticed that when the T-Con board is unplugged from the LED driver board (Appears to be a 10 pin wire connector) I get backlight on the entire TV. But as soon as this...

Hey, Josh here form Tucson AZ. Audio Video Engineer by trade, Tinkerer by night. Right now I've found myself trying to fix tvs and building speakers. I've stumbled across tons of knowledge on these forums and figured it would be great to be a part of!
