i mean if the prevoius bios have no display sir, try with virgin bios without any editing work. But when i copy serial number block even with hex editor no display again, i end up using hpdmi to fill dmi...Leave a comment:

is this possible build full bios and ec from hp site ? i got board with blank chip both ec & main. i already try some bios from previous page, get 1 bios that work but late display. already try to build with latest Q78, clean it but no luck. this bios take 1+ minute to display.
Maybe someone can help try this bios or help repair it

try this.
remove hdd or ssd from your laptop, remove cmos battery also. When first booting, you should press F2 quickly. when you can enter bios, you need disable fast boot if your bios have this option

If you brave enough, remove R19 and make jumper on invt_pwm side from 3vs. But make sure no short on invt_pwm pin...

Measure this pin voltage on JEDP1 :
1) +LEDVDD ( 19v )
2) DISPOFF# ( 0v = active low )
3) INVT_PWM ( 3v )
4) LCDVDD_CON ( 3v )
