Re: Sony SWF-BR100 Wireless Sub repair
Hi R_J, thanks for the pinout. This is a bit of a saga so bear with me.. The wireless subwoofer is still operational and belongs to a family member who had a top of the line 75" Sony (X9400) TV. The TV died and was replaced under warranty with the X9500 model that superceded it. The problem is the new TV does not provide subwoofer support and won't work with the new model. He is now stuck with an expensive paper weight.
Plan B was to connect the Sony bluetooth dongle to Subwoofer Out on the AV Receiver and get audio to it...

Re: Marshall Stanmore Repair
I'm still looking for a schematic/ service manual for this amp. Hope someone can help with a copy or a link?
Posts in other repair forums mention the use of cheap chinese 'ChenX' caps on this board that leak electrolyte. Caps with Marshall goop poured around them had corrosion hiding underneath which destroyed a number of SMT components. I believe some of these design issues were addressed in the Mk2 version.

Sony SWF-BR100 Wireless Sub repair
Need some help with a Sony SWF-BR100 Wireless Sub that I am fixing.

Research so far indicates it is very likely a Texas Instruments IC, rebadged for Sony. I have been looking at datasheets of many variants in the Texas TPA series but the pinouts don't match on any of them. The chip is a 44 pin HTSSOP surface mount package.
