Just buy the replacement LGP, it will save you headaches down the line, they are easy to replace as well.

With the LEDs blinking twice you are indeed correct that the fault is located on the panel.

Re: Samsung LED TV UA55NU7300k (TV rebooting on startup)
Make sure the cable you are using is not too think when using the tape method.
It are most definitely faults on the open cells of the panels on the RU/NU/TU 7x00 series TVs. Most RU/NU panels can be resolved using the tape method and some patience.
Samsung have done revisions to a majority of the panels supplied on these units when performing replacements, oftentimes requiring mainboard replacements in conjunction due to compatibility and stability issues on these units.

5 Blinks is usually your optical circuit failure. Try new mainboard...

Re: Samsung Ue55mu6172u restart without images
When using the tape method, make sure the tape is not too thick and that the cable is properly inserted into the connector before attempting to power on the device again.
It is likely that your issue is related to the open cell, the tape method will seldom resolve the issue when the display is completely blank but it is a cheaper fix than replacing the screen.
Its most likely a the open cell as a failure point and a panel must be replaced.

Re: Samsung UE43j5500ak
If the issue is related to WiFi board then connecting via cable will resolve the issue.
From what I can see it sounds as though your issue is related to the WiFi card. To confirm, enter factory menu and see if you have a WiFi mac address. If there is no mac address, replace the Wifi board. If the WiFi mac address is fine, then it could be related to SW/ mainboard.

Re: Hisense TV 40A5600F Dead - Wan't start
On Hisense if you bet on backlights or capacitors, you'd win more than you'd lose

Re: HITACHI U50KA6150 LED TV - Turns on, BKLT ok, no picture
It sounds like a panel fault to me. Check that your 13V is getting to your TConn/ open cell.
Majority of the manufacturers link the panel and open cell by variant in modern devices, this might be a difficult one to diagnose.
I don't have a ton of experience with Japanese manufacturers but based off my experience on the Chinese and Korean manufacturers; a blank display is the open cell, a discoloured image is the tconn board.

Re: Samsung UE43NU7122 has Picture, but no Backlight
Unplug mainboard from the power supply board .
On Samsung TVs, this puts the device into backlight test mode. If you have no backlight power after doing this you likely have either a faulty power supply board or blown backlights.
This model is edge lit, it is most likely a backlight fault.

GTX 670 Schematic
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone might have access to the schematic diagram for the Galax/ KFA2 GTX 670
I have one thats reporting error 43. I have eliminated the possibility of bios errors and driver errors and can only assume the error is hardware related in the temperature sense CCT.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Re: PS3 Parts Assistance
That is a really good question!
I have some that have been ANNIHILATED, gears have been broken out, casings broken off and most of the spring loaded mechanical components are missing their springs.
I will check out AliExpress but shipping to my country is not the greatest from Ali Express (The post office steals parcels).

PS3 Parts Assistance
Hi all,
I wonder if someone can help me out. I have been given some scrap PS3s from several people who had collected consoles for repairs and bave noticed that people have made similar mistakes when attempting to disassemble/ repair their consoles.
My issue is i can't find the necessary components to repair the mistakes (hopefully someone can point me in the right direction).
I am needing the following parts:
1. The 40/ 50 pin b2b connector on the main board that runs to the blu ray drive (the connector the flex cable connects to)
2. The black shell of...

How much of a problem will I have if I can only source a lamp that is slightly shorter in length but correct on width?

Bad CCFL replacement - advice required.
Hello everyone,
I have a monitor that has a 2 second to black issue. I managed to trace the fault to what i suspect to be a bad CCFL lamp.
While i do still get 2 second to black issues without the lamp, the sense CCT has a sense for the open lamp and i assume that i will experience this until a new lamp is installed.
I do have the following concern about the CCFL replacement and i hope a kind soul will enlighten me to an answer:
1. Start up and opperating voltage:
As the 2 sec to black fault is so fast its near to impossible to match my opperating voltage...Last edited by etbmikenel; 12-20-2018, 02:13 PM.
