Adhesive to Hold on LED Strips?
I ordered replacement LED strips for my Sceptre TV. I'm getting ready to install them. What adhesive do you all use to adhere them to the case? I'm looking for something I can pick up in a brick and mortar Lowes/Ace Hardware place. -

Sceptre X505BV-FMDR - Found Bad LED
Been trying to fix this TV for some time. I tried a replacement power supply and main board but I still had power to the tv (the blue led bulb lit), sound, but no picture.
I finally opened it up to test the LED strips. I did this with my multimeter and popping off the lenses to test them (I've since realized this wasn't a great idea) I found a single LED bulb out and perhaps 1 that was dim.
Would a single failed LED cause the entire backlight to not work?
I did receive advice that I could "short circuit" an LED and just move that strip to... -

Sceptre X505BV-FMDR - Accessing LED Strips
Hello,
I have a Sceptre X505BV-FMDR with sound but no picture. Red/Orange LED turns to blue when I turn the unit on and there is sound. I have replaced the main board and power supply to no avail. I'm guessing I need to test the LED strips.
Does anybody have any teardown pictures for Sceptre X505BV-FMDR to get to these strips? Getting at the power supply and such was fairly straight forward but it seems getting to the LEDs will be more difficult.
