Need help identifying the component...
Hi every
I came across [URL="https://www.ableton.com/en/products/controllers/apc40/"]Ableton APC40 Midi Controller[/URL] that had some liquid spilled on it. Someone already tried cleaning it but the sliders and rotary encoders are ruined.
I was able to find compatible slider here:

When the main board is disconnected the squealing stops...
As soon as ribbon is plugged in the right pitch noise is right back on...

Hey there
I am working on the same power supply as yours. My symptoms are loud squealing and ticking sound. May I ask what did you repair in your original PSU to get it to work?
- All caps in spec
- All diodes ok
- All through hole resistors okay
- All SM fuses okay
- All transistors measure okay (i think)
- Transformer T601 has continuity
- Suspecting IC001 "HAI 7209PC" to be the cause...Leave a comment:

Replacing MR4030 and the little diode that shorted out beside it did the trick.

Picked up a TV last night by the curb. Seems some one already tried repairing it, but no soldering has been done, some one just opened and closed the back cover :-)

I got a same problem with my PSU like you had with [url]https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=15732&highlight=DP50747[/url]
Replacing the diode fixed the burning fuse but now my green led stayes on for about 10 sec and then turns off. You mentioned replacing MR4030. Did replacing MR4030 helped? Did you get the TV working?

Traces are fine, i checked that.
I am suspecting that IC "4812 be413e" is the problem.
I am thinking that it is my bad. The writing was to small and I did not notice that the part I used as a replacement had these markings on it "4609 BA6H13". I did not had an identical that came with the board.
Could that be the reason?...Leave a comment:

D6 seems to be giving a reading both ways. I don't believe it supposed to. I am going to change it and see if that works...
Replacing D6 did not help... D6 after taking out from the board was tested OK.
