Re: Samsung un65eh6000 backlight issue
Hi,
Using a TKMDR Backlight tester.
Tested each bead then each strip 63vdc each strip. 3 strips per circuit 189vdc per circuit.
They all come on but can’t seem to get the system to ramp up?

Re: Samsung un65eh6000 backlight issue
No
I’m just trying to figure out a solution.
Try to understand why the backlight come on when grounded to the chassis.
Backlights have been tested 2x. Just not sure what controls the backlight circuit.

Samsung un65eh6000 backlight issue
Hi All,
I have a Samsung Un65eh6000 with a backlight issue.
The original issue was backlight current was present but led strips did not light
I tested the backlights and all tested to be working properly.
I assumed then that the power supply was not sending current to the led strips.
Power supply board part number BN44-00560A.
After checking voltages it appears that current output at connector CNL802 was outputting the correct current 189 VDC on pins 1,2,6, and 8.
The issue then was there was no ground on the connector...

Re: Vizio P659-G1 Screen Removal / Backlight Replacement
Hi,
I was able to remove the screen pretty easily. ( I used a very thin piece of plastic material to slide around the outer perimeter of the LED panel)
This allowed me to release the sealant which holds the screen to the mini bezel.
Unfortunately getting that mini bezel removed from the tv frame is another thing.
There are numerous metal directional one way fasteners that are attached to that bezel.
From my point of view I see no way of releasing these fasteners. I tried prying up...

Vizio P659-G1 Screen Removal / Backlight Replacement
Hi All,
Has anyone had the experience of replacing backights on the “P” series Vizio tv?
Model number P659-G1
This type tv has a very small bezel holding the screen in and I’m not sure how the bezel/screen is assembled. ( I’m hoping the screen is not epoxied to the frame)
Before I attempt this I thought maybe someone on this forum has performed this backlight replacement procedure.
Thanks in advance...

Re: Samsung un49mu7000f dead no power
Sorry
No I did not.
I've had a difficult time finding software for the ch341 programmer.
I think I'm going to try and find a pre programmed chip to install or purchase another main board.
Not sure I have the expertise to repair flashing the chip.

LG 55UN6955ZUF. Help
Hi
I recently acquired an LG55 UN6955ZUF
When I cycle it on it has backlights and audio.
No video just the light blue hue of the backlights.
I've replaced the main board hoping it would take care of the problem but, same outcome.
I've started taking some reading from the buffer strips on the panel itself but I'm not sure what the reading should be.
Here's the current readings
LEFT SIDE BUFFER
VCC33. 3.35 VDC
CLK 70 ohms
DI 130 ohms
GND. gnd
CS 3.27 VDC
DO. open
WP. OPEN
RIGHT...

Re: Samsung un49mu7000f dead no power
Hi,
I have replaced the main board with 2 different replacement boards from TV PARTS TODAY and also replaced the power supply board once with no change.
(Am I getting defective boards from TVPARTS TODAY? They’re supposed to be fully tested before shipping)
I’m a little curious to why I’m not getting the 3 VDC standby voltage.
I’m just not sure what voltages I’m supposed to be getting on CNM 803 as they aren’t marked on the PS board.

Re: Samsung un58j5190 part identification
Hi,
Thanks for responding.
I have replaced the backlights but, need assistance in identifying MOSFETS Qm801/802CS
The MOSFETS were damaged so severely that I’m unable to identify the markings on the outside of the components.
The locations are used in other Samsung TVs so it’s difficult in cross the parts over to any other Samsung TVs.
My power supply board is Samsung part number is BN4400787A with locations QM801CS and QM802CS.
What I’m looking for is the correct part number for these...

Re: Samsung un58j5190 part identification
Hi
Thanks again!
My power supply board is BN44000787A.
Dimensionally the 50R380 is the correct size 60mm x 65mm. My board uses this Mofset in location QS101C. (50R380)
Could this MOSFET also be used in locations QM801/802?
I too was thinking that the 14nm50n ,but it’s just not a dimensional fit.
I’m stuck on this one without a parts list or schematic.
Thanks so much for the help!
Much appreciated
