Re: Sharp Aquos LC-32LE700E won't power up / 2 short red blinks
Yes the board has been worked on by me and I feel quite stupid :-(shame)
This is the story: a few years ago I repaired for the first time in my life a tv.
That was a very old Medion tv with big boards inside (easy to solder). I found the problem,
ordered a repair-kit with some capacitors and resistors, replaced them and it worked!
Wow! That felt fantastic!
Now (a few years later) I got this Sharp tv from my parents and thought that will be easy peasy lemon squeezy.
So...

Re: Sharp Aquos LC-32LE700E won't power up / 2 short red blinks
Taping needles at the probes does the job for the moment! :-)
So with the black lead to the ground I measure on the connectors:
CN7003
----------
1 = 0,40
2 = 0,40
3 = 0,40
4 = 0
5 = 0
6 = 0
7 = 0
8 = 0
9 = 0
10 = 0
11 = 5,06
12 = 0
When I turn on the TV: CN7003 pin 9 and 10 get 3,25 volt for a short time
CN7004
----------
1 = 0
2 = 0
3 = 0
4 = 0

Re: Sharp Aquos LC-32LE700E won't power up / 2 short red blinks
I downloaded the power supply manual and found REG3.3V on the schematic drawing but I can not find on the power board...
I will measure all the voltages of the connectors on the power board and post them asap.
(but first I have to order thin test leads because the ones I have are not thin enough)

Re: Sharp Aquos LC-32LE700E won't power up / 2 short red blinks
Great! Thank you for the link!
I followed the manual by pressing <MENU> on the remote control, after that the leds make the following pattern:
Power led (RED): ON__ON
OPC led (GREEN): ON__ON__ON
So if I correct understand from page 66 it means: Digital...Last edited by Donald.Duck; 10-15-2019, 05:24 PM.

Sharp Aquos LC-32LE700E won't power up / 2 short red blinks
If I turn on the Sharp LC-32LE700E the green light turns on followed by 2 short red blinks (and keeps repeating 2 short red blinks)
I could not find any burnt brown hot spots on the circuit boards or capacitors with leaking/bulging top or seals.
Hopefully somebody can help me to find out what the problem is / which components I have to replace.
I'm a beginner for electronics repairs with basic gear (Fluke 12 multimeter, soldering iron and tin sucker :-)
Let me know if more detailed photo's are needed....
