  • Re: Panasonic TX-P50U30B Standby Problem

    Me again Gents

I have now fixed it. Here is how it was done.

All usual ways with power button pressed, Power button pressed and channel up held etc none of this worked

Solution was a reset with the remote. Hold down Standby button then press on the power button on TV. Dont release standby button until TV starts. Once started switch off with remote to standby then start again using standby button all is now well

    Regards

  • Panasonic TX-P50U30B Standby Problem

    Gents,
Need a little help. Have Panasonic TX-P50U30B that is stuck in standby with red light on. No blinks. Switch on relay clicks but light stays red, Flickers if i use remote
However set will not start. Relays click once, after 40 seconds one long click or relays then 3 short clicks, this is repeating every 40 seconds so its trying to start Standby is at 4.95v on pin 6 of P6 on power supply sending 5 v to the A board Beyond that have 3.5v on pin 7 which i assume drives the lamp.

Tried the usual resets but nothing fault is same. Unsure if PSU board or A Board...

  • Re: Panasonic, no flashing red lights but won't power on

Mine is slightly different problem Red light on Relay clicks after 40 seconds relay gives 1 click then 3 short clicks and repeats every 40 seconds, No blinking Led
Standby voltage on pin 6 is 5v but nothing returning from the A board. Anybody any details on components for standby mode, I am assuming its A board Fault and not PSU. I cannot find any other voltages on PSU but if its stuck in standby this would be normal?
