Yeah I was looking into that and the bonding tape but the shipping times are longgg. Mid-June type. Sucks.
If this thermal pad from amazon doesn't work I will hope to recoup some money by selling parts on ebay and likely will have to buy a TV.

It probably happened when I was assembling the tv back after installing the new led strips. I bought this tv new in late 2017. Seems like the thermal pad worked for some people on this forum. I ordered this one:

Oh man, think I just found the culprit
Removed the tape to see the driver board on the defective side and about 3/4 of that tab is lift off the board.
Is there anyway to fix this or am I a goner?...Leave a comment:

Just tried switching the ribbon from the side that was working to the defective side and same result
I will try messing with the U-ribbon on the side that is defective.

There are no U ribbons that I can see. Only those 2 ribbons I showed and another ribbon that is not attached to the glass panel.
Even after removing everything when changing the LED strips, there were no other ribbons besides the ones seen here. Moved the speakers in this pic....Leave a comment:

have to take off the plastic frame and "metal bar" on the bottom of the tv by driver board and then the panel just lifts up, if that makes sense....Leave a comment:

I might have damaged the ribbon when I tried to connect it back. I had to unplug both of the ribbons from the driver board when I replaced the led strips. And then maybe when I put everything back and plugged the ribbons back into the driver board I might have bent that one? Not sure......Leave a comment:

I have been trying to be very careful with the panels that are attached to the glass. When you say power cord are you referring to the ribbon that is on the power board (might not be the power board not sure of the name) or the actual tv plug?
