Re: Optiplex 7050 Bios bin file
Hi everyone!
There is a bios dump from a working nettop. There is another nettop on which the bios is lost. If you just copy the BIOS from a working one to a non-working one, then there are problems with the ME region (long start, inadequate cooling, etc.) and all numbers (service tag, poppy addresses) are copied and the network card does not work. Can it be cleaned of dirty ME and, most importantly, how to add other service tag numbers, poppy addresses, etc.?...

Re: HP BIOS unlock tool
I found a solution to the problem.
While the BIOS lets us in and allows us to change the administrator password, I set my password. Then he rebooted 33 times until the red inscription disappeared. After that, the BIOS asked for a password to enter, and my password worked!...

Re: HP BIOS unlock tool
No, it doesn't work. After flashing, I immediately reset the settings to factory settings. After the reboot, I entered the MPM data. Still the red inscription comes out. If I reset the settings again, the MPM information disappears, and the number on the red inscription again goes from 33 downwards.
He does not like the MPM information, although I enter everything correctly, I tried it several times and double-checked it several times....

Re: HP BIOS unlock tool
Let's agree on the exact sequence of actions.
1. I solder and reflash U365 again.
2. I turn on the laptop, go into the BIOS and install MPM. I save and reboot.
3. I go into the BIOS and reset the settings to factory settings. I save and reboot.
So to do?
Or swap steps 2 and 3?Last edited by alimcorp; 03-16-2022, 09:53 AM.

Re: HP BIOS unlock tool
There were 20 reboot attempts. Each time, the number decreased by 1. After 20 reboots, the inscription no longer appears, but the PASSWORD again appeared to enter the BIOS.

Re: HP BIOS unlock tool
I've done everything. And why is the red line "system is booting in manufacturing program mode" now shown at the top? What does this mean?...

Re: HP BIOS unlock tool
I understood. The forum engine itself inserts a space in such a long word.

Re: HP BIOS unlock tool
I figured out how to change MPM data, I have a question about Feature Byte. Is there a blank (space) there or not?
3X476J6S6b7B7H7M7Q7W7m7saBaEapaqauawbUbhcAdUdpdqfPhKhkjhk8.gn or 3X476J6S6b7B7H7M7Q7W7m7saBaEapaqauawbUbhcAdUdpdqfPhKhkjhk8.gn ?...

Re: HP BIOS unlock tool
I mean only 7 bytes are different between the original dump and your unlocked one.
Yes, I flashed it, installed it, there is no password.
Now I enter a long line Feature Byte. Is there really a gap there? There is no space in your screenshot, but there is one in the text view. Please clarify....

Are you sure it's unlocked? There are only 7 differences here....

Re: HP BIOS unlock tool
Hello, Onizzbox. No, the archive does not contain the same files. There are dumps of three chips: U401, U365 and U366....

Re: Asus VivoBook 14 F412DA Bios Pass
I transferred data from the old BIOS to the new one at offset 135168-176415. DMI data migrated, no password. Did I do the right thing?

Asus VivoBook 14 F412DA Bios Pass
Hello everyone!
There is a laptop with a BIOS password.
There is also an image that I made by cutting 2 kB from the file from the Asus website. It works, no password, pure ME, but no DMI information (serial numbers, etc.).
Tell me, at what addresses to paste a piece of the old BIOS into the new one to transfer the DMI data, or which piece to transfer from the new BIOS to the old one to remove the password. Or just where to erase it?
Serial number LAN0CV02794041D.

Re: LENOVO BIOS AUTO-PATCHER for Supervisor Password Removal
The laptop started up with the file "lenovo a475 buryak backup_NORMAL PATCHED.bin", then I did everything according to the instructions from the first message of this topic. Then I uploaded the original BIOS back and everything became fine! Thank you guys so much for your work!...
