Samsung PN50B650S1FXZA touch controls not illuminated
This plasma TV has a touch control panel in the lower right, on the front side. The remote works and the standby light is on with the TV off. But how do I make the touch areas illuminate so I can see them? If I shine a flashlight on the area, I can see where to touch and everything works fine. But there must be a way to light up these areas. I looked in the user manual and can't find an answer.

How hot is too hot for an HDTV power supply thermistor
My question is a general one, but applies in this case to a Samsung BN44-00342B power supply with a thermistor labeled as NT801S. How hot is too hot?
The TV is working fine and the power consumption is normal (~200-250W). But the thermistor is super hot, measuring around 200F (~100c) or more depending on brightness. The circuit board under it is slightly darkened. But I can't believe this is normal and am wondering if I should replace the thermistor.

Re: Does Samsung LN55C630 TV have a service menu?
Thanks. Your method 2 worked, on the second try.
I was interested in seeing if there is some way that the manual controls could have been turned off, such as some hotel mode setting, but I don't see any such option and the hotel mode is off.
I do see the red standby light when the set is off, and I can press the area just to the right to turn the set on, I just don't see the illuminated symbols. The channel and other button areas also work, but are harder to guess the location.
So I guess...

Does Samsung LN55C630 TV have a service menu?
I have found various videos and web sites that provide codes for the Samsung TV "secret" service menu. None of these work for my LN55C630. So either I just haven't found the right code, or maybe this model does not have such a thing.
Does anyone know?
Similar models include LN40C630, LN55B550, LN40B550 etc.
