I had dell 3542 with admin lock in bios, so downloaded latest bios from dell website (3442A16.bin), but could not able to match header or footer from backup file. Anyone can guide please, is it extractable or any other way to resolve the issue.

19v rail, output side was showing a short (checked after removing CLR), a polar capacitor (PC1074-processor decoupling) in the core section was getting heat, when replaced that cap, the short gone, but when power on the machine, again that cap was heating (even had removed the processor already). so not understanding even no processor attached why this cap was getting shorted again and again
any guidance please.

No display, (when press power button 2 times orange, 5 times white blinks) lthen after few seconds shut-down, took about 500 mA, core coil and soc seems hot, lift one leg of core coil, inject appox. 1v, takes 170 mA on output side only,
Dramrst, pltrst, core, is generating, LPC communication & clocks ok.
Is it soc faulty or any other clue please.

you are right sir, but don't know what happened, DDR_on now 3.3 and ram generated, core, gfx, pltrst is present but before display, board gets-off. also dc to dc voltages are present when powered-on...Leave a comment:

Del e6500 power on but after a few second power off, ram voltage and vtt not generating, while 3v/5v, 1.0 Ich, 3v sus, vcore were generating
Ram ic pin 9, 14, 15, 16 have 5v inputs, s4 enable (DDR_ON) is 2.5v, s3 enable ( 0.9V_DDR_VTT_ON) is 3.3v
No bios yet flashed, any suggestions

soc getting hot, no display
The soc becomes a burning hot in exactly 2 seconds, is it normal or not?
There is no core, and the board is LA-C451P. (1.0v prime, 1.0v pch, vccsa, ram etc are generating).
Board taking about 500mA.
For testing, just inject 0.9V on core coil, the cpu normally heat but ampere showing 500-700mA.
