After some more measuring i found that the xtal 27MHz is working, and i have no communication whit the BIOS chip. if i remove external power i have communication whit the BIOS.

If i remember, that resistor on the 12V-PCI is a R005, and if your measurements are correct than the resistor is defective.
Try to measure the resistance on the resistor....Leave a comment:

Asus Dual RX 480, Power OK, Not Posting
Hi. i need some pointers what to look for.
I have Asus Rx 480, all the voltages are ok but not posting.
I have swaped Bios from identical working card, still the same.
Also board view or schematic from the Asus version will be great (i have rx580-rx570-rx480-rx470-rx-ms-v341-2 schematic but mine seams to be different).
I will post the exact model later when i get home. -

Until you get reflow station you can order Low Melt Solder.
It melts on very low temp and stays melted for a long time.
You can also remove chips whit this solder, just apply flux first.
Also you can get some Industrial Heat Gun for cheap, to preheat on those big thermal parts and pcb pads.Leave a comment:
