Hi all,
I have trouble to unsolder macromix wson chip from hp 820 g3 and i have already damaged 2 bios cheap and i can`t still not succeed to unsolder them. My questions are:
1. what is the best practice to unsolder these macromix wson chips?
2. Is there a way to solder wire to the gold pad around the chip to this adatapter QFN8 /WSON8/MLF8/MLP8/DFN8 DIP8?

Hi not tested yet due bocken bios chip when triying to unsold it from the motherboard. I m waiting for new one to come and I will report, many thanks again.

Hi Thanks, but i don't need just a clean me bios from my bios file as I suspect that this one is infected by a virus, so I need an other good working clean bios.

Hi I have 3 laptops and all 3 go mad the fan is spining high and the pcs get warm. i suspect a virus on my bios as I replace hard drives and fresh install of windows 10 and got same problem. Could you please look at this bios and clean it if necessary. I need a good clean bios file

I think my bios is corrupted as the fun is running at full speed and the laptop get very warm.

Many thanks for your help, my bios chip wson8 chip, I tried to use a sop8 to dip8 adapter to read the bios but the chip is always not detected.
Could you please advise.
PS: How to check bios dump is ok with HxD

I have succeed to desolder the bios chip, how to read and write bios on this chip as it is different from what I have seen until now.
I have ezp2019+ and ch341a programmers. What other tool do I need to be able to read and to write on this chip?

Hi to all
This is my son's pc.
When connected to the dc it powers on It self without pushing the power switch and after few second the fan go to hi speed. I look the motherboard and I see that there was something wrong. Please see attached picture. Could you please help me repare it if this is possible as there is no much technicien where I live.
