Thanks for the bios image, but unfortunately it didn't work. I guess I need to move onto finding a fault with the hardware that I must have created while removing the bios chip....

I wanted to clear the BIOS password that my son had added to his laptop (and had forgotten). After reading about clearing the Lenovo laptop BIOS passwords, it seemed that I should be able to dump the existing BIOS and then simply re-flash my BIOS dump back to the chip. I read that this process...

Hi, I've been an electronics enthusiast for many years now, I started by designing systems for art installation projects and my interest has grow over the years. I love hacking hardware to do things that is was never intended for. I am particularly interested in embedded systems and micro controllers.
