Yes by disabling the discrete graphics driver it works but I would like to give a try on repairing it fully if possible. Also yes the 1.5v is present and the impedance is like 1.7ohm but I doubt my probes.... -

Yes in safe mode it boots into windows perfectly fine so that's why I think something is stopping my discreet to function properly in normal mode.Leave a comment:

Already flashed the bios and changed the ssd and did a fresh windows installation but nothing changed. I think the problem is in gpu section or may be the thermal related components in gpu section....Leave a comment:

Asus Tuf FX505DY display issue.
So i currently have asus tuf fx505dy laptop that is booting upto asus logo and then it is shows a blank screen (it should show windows) also i can get inside the recovery and advance startup but when it is trying to boot to windows it is always a blank screen with the backlight present. So i want help to fix my own laptop that i have been using for past 4 years and also started a journey with badcaps with this laptop only, i can do microsoldering and i hve the schematic and boardview for this laptop so please help to fix this. -

I have encountered similar problems with Asrock H81M-VG4 rev 3.0/3.1 first of all clean the board properly flash the bios then power on with a known good cpu and 1600Mhz ram. If problem still persists reflow the nuvoton sio. Try and share what happened next with us....Leave a comment:

I came across an acer one 14 z422 which power on fine but with no display also no responding to any pressed key .

Bios needed for BIOSTAR H61MLV3 ver 8.0
I got a BIOSTAR h61mlv3 ver 8.0 mobo it beeps 8 times on boot it has numlock led glowing on keyboard and responding. I know its a bios issue so kindly provide me with bios bin file if anyone has it laying around.

Dell latitude 5400 bios ec.
Currently i am working on a dell latitude 5400 mobo with i5 8th gen , which came from a different shop and customer informed me that they replaced the bios chips and the startup chip. I highly doubt their work because i found the bios chip was in the sim card slot
. So guys i want you all to help me with the bios files for both chips and the EC chip data programming. (It is in no power condition but the 3.3valw,5valw,1v and 1.8v are present So i think it is related to wrong bios or EC.)

Bios for ECS G43T-DM1 v:A00
I have a ECS G43T-DM1 v:A00 motherboard which was probably used in DELL Inspiron 560 / 560s and has that bios. In that bios user can not change core voltage , frequency of cpu /ram etc.
I wonder if anyone could help me to modify it to just report as an ECS mobo without the DELL start up logo. So i could use for a socket 775 retro machine with G43 chipset.

You are absolutely right it was in fact a zener diode .Take any zener diode from same 5v/3.3v rail of any mobo it will work just fine. Let us know any future updates about repair.Leave a comment:
