Good morning hive mind,
i'm looking for a schematic or even better a board view for a MS-17K51 ver. 1.0 laptop motherboard.
please let me know if you have one, or where can i find one, as i've been battling this monster for 3 days now, and i can't figure out what is shorted.

Hello wonderful people, my experience is fairly limited (at the beginning) with electronics, but this is the first time i see or hear about a cap with 2 different voltages at both ends.
cap is part of a BQ24780S, power management chip.
motherboard model Asus GM501GS.
upon measuring this cap i found out that on the top it has 5.89V and bottom 0.84 V
can anyone shed some light or it's a partially shorted cap, that needs replacing.
looking for some guidance if possible.

Hi i'm looking for a diagram/boardview for the motherboard mentioned above, all i could find are .BRD files that can only open with Allegro and they look like silkscreen printing only (i never used allegro, and i might not know what i'm looking at)
if anyone has a boardview that it can be opened with boardviewer i would appreciate the help as i've been struggling with this board for a while now.
i can't find out why i'm missing the +3.3v_M for U1 and U2, cmos chips.

I'm a hobbist fixer, I try to fix everything that I lay my hands on, but lately I started fixing laptops.
I started during the pandemic but it grew on me.
My first computer was a HC2000 made by Ice Felix in Romania back in 94-95 and there I got my love for electronics.
