  • I have a A1701 with an intermittent backlight issue.

Hello everyone, if anyone has iPad pro 10.5 .brd file, please share it.

I could also use some advice for solving my problem if anyone knows it off the top of their heads. The iPad turns on and works but if nothing wakes the iPad it goes out in a second or two. I don't know if this could be due to a filter or a coil. Please let me know if you have an advice/ a boardview file.

    Thank You!

  • Asus FX505G LCD Backlight Issue

    Hello Everyone,

Today I'm coming to you regarding my issue which is no Backlight .

I have image on my screen but no light.

The Laptop was one that came into my shop. Originally it came into the shop with an HDMI port issue. We replaced the mobo and now have a backlight issue. I took off the LCD display and removed the ribbon cable and peeled back the adhesive covering over the board that is connected to the LCD to identify any issues. I took tweezers and wiggled every connection. Everything appears to be fine.

    Looking for advice....

  • Looking to find a vertical 12 pin FPC

I'm looking to find something that has a vertical 12 pin fpc connector. I found them on ebay but they would take forever to get in. Is there something that would have one of these to donate? The client that is looking for this replacement piece is in a rush. A month is too long to wait. Any and all help it greatly appreciated.

  • I need help Diagnosing and fixing a motherboard for an A13 5g.

I'm experiencing some issues with my A13 5g phone, specifically with charging and powering on. I've already tried replacing the battery, charging port, and screen, but unfortunately, none of these solutions have worked. To troubleshoot further, I connected the charger with an AMP meter and found that I'm only getting 5v 0.02-0.08 amps, with the majority of the readings at 0.02 amps. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

    iPad 6th gen A1893

    Hi everyone,
I'm looking for the board view and schematics for A1893 cellular iPad 6.
I removed the motherboard and did a charging port replacement on the device and and I put it back together the power button works but not the volume buttons. I then replaced the power/volume flex and this didn't have any affect on fixing the issue. Is there anything you would suggest? The client also didn't mention anything about this when it was dropped off.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated thank you.

    Best tools question

What are the best tools in your opinion every shop should have on a tier list.
I would like to know what I'm missing and what I should invest in for making my life easier with repair jobs.

Also in there anything that has made your business more profitable but you wouldn't expect it to be a common tool around repair shops?

  • How to find the correct Mosfet on a laptop I need to replace

I don't know if this is the correct forum or if I should be posting in another one. I have a broken mosfet that needs to be replaced on a yoga motherboard.
    The mosfet is labeled:
    SM
    3424n
    CX427

I have found a replacement before searching a combination of these number but this one is giving me issues.
Am I going about this wrong?

Advice and any and all tips is greatly appreciated.

  • Re: 0805 SMD question

Okay, so I believe this is a ferrite bead which is just a component that reduces interference. So if I test both sides of this component should it be open as if it is a wire straight through?

    0805 SMD question

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I have what I believe is a capacitor. 0805 size.
I have a full book of 0805 SMD so I'm pretty sure I have the one I need.

I'm trying to identify what this is:

    HCB2012KF-121T50_0805
    5A 1 20m 25% 120@100MHz 0805 Ferrite Beads ROHS

Could someone explain to me how to read this?

    Thank you in advanced.

  • Schematics and board view for Lenovo GYG41 Motherboard

    Hi,

Does anyone have schematics and board view files for GYG41/GYG51 motherboard?
The mother board I am currently working is not charging or powering on.
When I plug in the ampmeter I am getting 5v 0amps. I have been looking for a short but can not find any. I did find two of what I believe are capacitors but I am not quite sure. When i measure them in continuity mode on my multimeter I am getting a beep on both ends of the components. When I test them with one probe on ground I don't get a beep. Am I way off or is this an issue? I have attached a picture for reference....

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

    Hello. o/

I am new to forums in general except for reddit.
I don't really know how they work or proper educate.
I am a small type technician that has recently starting fixing mortherboards.
I have soldered in the past with HDMI ports on game consoles, charging ports on iPads and DC jacks on laptops.
I just recently discovered my first real repair on a MSI gaming laptop, identified a shorted mosfet and I'm trying to expand.
I don't know how to create a post and I am looking for someone...
