. Only the power button led flashes and then stays on, but nothing happens. Not even the screen backlight turns on. I don't think I'll be able to flash the EC....

You've any theories why for kaykun, only the new chip worked? Was thinking about ordering some spare winbonds..
Do you think the problem could be in the ec? Is it loaded/flashed from the bios, or would I need to flash it separately (and disassemble the whole thing, argh)? But found a local company and they claim they can flash also that, but that would be last resort....Leave a comment:

This is what I managed to extract with flashrom and rpi (verified it extracting it multiple times) before trying any other image.
I was trying to solve a hw issue so I picked this old bios for some good old binary search..
Also note that I'm little worried of sharing bios dump online, so I at least x-ed out windows key (can I just edit it in after, or do I need to use uefitool to correct checksum?)....Leave a comment:

Hello. I have Lenovo E590, 20NB-0012XS, NM-B911 rev 2.0. After reflash with older version (using exe), I can't power it on (just some led flashing like op described). Tried some versions from this forum, but still nothing, only the power button led turns on and that's all. Think the bios is W, but not sure.
The conf is i7 8565U with radeon.
Any suggestions? Can someone please share dump (or bin) of current version (1.33)?Leave a comment:
