I asked the guy if he can wait he is in need of his laptop for a seminar here he is from Botswana and he cant find anyone to help him there. the part will take six weeks to get to me from hong kong no local supplier. i dont usually do this but he is desperate. i have that extra grey wire where must i be connected to be read.

Hi guys i have a hp omen quanta board DAG3ABMBCD0 the dc jack middle pin is broken i could not find a power jack so i cut an hp charging block from another hp and connected them together. i get power allover the board but no light and it does not power on when i press the on button. any help would be appreciated. -
