Re: CH341a - Questions
I didn't solder these wires. i just burned a little bit of the wire so the metal part is exposed. now, as soon as i get a soldering iron i will solder them onto the gold pads....

Re: CH341a - Questions
Just cut wires and I will solder it after a while. I also think that I discovered another problem. The LED on the power place seems to be missing like there is a visible difference between the Power and Run LED. I think that's the problem. like it got damaged or it was the production error not sure.
now I can't even return it lol 😅....

Re: CH341a - Questions
So let me understand completely. Basically, you are saying that cut the wires from here and solder them onto the gold pads and then use the rest of the programmer as it is right?
Really appreciate your help!...

Re: CH341a - Questions
Thanks. appreciate your advice. but that was not the point I didn't want to desolder the bios chip but now it seems like this is the only solution. I am initially scared to do that and don't even know how to do it. so now I am just gonna take it to a shop and get the password removed. Again thanks for the help!...

Re: CH341a - Questions
HI. can anyone help me i bought a CH341 and a test clip with it. my laptop HP 840 G3 has bios password which I wanted to remove. first of all the clip wasn't actually fitting on the chip because the clip was large. so i cut it a little and sometimes the clip fitted perfectly but there was no light in at power led. i tried running it through ASprogrammer but it shows an error like FFFFFF(Unkown) something like that. can anyone help me what should i do right? is the clip not fitting perfectly or there is another problem> Thanks
