I swapped screen on Macbook Pro M1 Pro (a2442) - swapped for original one from another one (original not aftermarket)
there were shadows (i didn't swap ic's)
after update to MacOS Sequoia 15.2 backlight is fully working no shadows.
i tried restart, turn on off, close lid, ... it's working.
can someone test if it's working for other people aswell ?
also if possible test if aftermarket screens are also working???...

Macbook Pro 14" A2442 820-02098-a
I have this macbook pro that is not turning on.
taking 5V 0,05a on USB-C meter.
PPBUS_AON - stable 12,33V
PP3V8_AON - stable 3,8V
Strange thing is that when battery is connected and i connect USB-C charger it shows 5V then when i disconnect and reconnect it' doesn't turn on USB-C meter at all (i have to disconnect and connect battery)
I've checked and PPBUS_AON or PPVBAT_AON_CHRG_REG are not shorted to ground.
any idea how to proceed ?

ok after checking it looks like problem is on trackpad side.
FPC connector on trackpad have some pins that are corroded and they don't make correct connection with flex (i've ordered new trackpad to see if this solves problem with keyboard)

Macbook air a2681
Got this macbook air that was not working.
after opening i found water damage on LID sensor, daughter board (where keyboard connects) and trackpad
There was spilled probably coffee (i’ve cleaned everyhting with pure water and afterwards with isopropyl alcohol
i’ve disconnected LID sensor, repaired flex on trackpad (the part thet connects to trackpad there were some pads heavy corroded to i’ve repaired them) and i was able to put macbook to DFU and restore.
but the keyboard was not working at all (no caps lock light). After dfu was done i’ve connected external keyboard...

i'm trying to get to understand schematics for this board (and also overal) As i don't have any voltage on LUXE_LG2 and LUXE_LG2_R does the voltange goes in that way i draw ? So from my basic understanding only things that can be wrong are the 2 (or at least one) mosfet QP803 or QP801 or UP800 (but i don't think this is the problem as i've replaced it 3x and still the same result (i'm using donor boards). Or is there anything alse that can cause there is 0V on LUXE_LG2 and LUXE_LG2_R ????
also if i understand PPVOUT_LUXE_XW is voltage for backlight and it should have 15V and this...

I've checked more arround UP800 and i noticed that on RP830 (pins LUXE_LG2 and LUXE_LG2_R) i'm getting 0V ...
but on RP833 (LUXE_UG2 and LUXE_UG2_R) i'm getting 5V
RP830 is connected to QP803 - i tried to replace it but nothing and diode readings are ok
also on PPVOUT_LUXE_XW i'm getting 0V (when screen is connected)I've checked more arround UP800 and i noticed that on RP830 (pins LUXE_LG2 and LUXE_LG2_R) i'm getting 0V ...
but on RP833 (LUXE_UG2

according to repair wiki (https://logi.wiki/index.php/Backlight_Troubleshooting) if you switch display backlight can be off until lid off and on signals are send ...
I've tried with original lid sensor from screen (but still no backlight - it was turning off as keyboard backlight turned off)
i also tried 2 other LID sensors (original one from original screen, new i also tried to program it with nerd.tool1 but still no backlight)
i tried to put board back to original case and still the same issue when screen (all cables are connected there is no...

ok so I got another a2442 that looks like will be not repairable so I decided to switch the board where I have backlight issues to see if it's really problem on display side ...
and to my surprise MacBook started right away fully working not restarting ... BUT there is no backlight ...
I've replaced UP800 - still the same
I've checked Diode mode readings everywhere I was able to find anything with BKLT in description (everything ok). I've checked all pins JP600 and JP900 if there is any abnormality everything OK.
Only thing left from my point...

I just noticed one strange thing. When i keep USB-C amp meter connected it keeps restarting (starts at 5v reach 20v approx 0,2a and restarts) but after 4 restarts (one time it was after 6, anothertime after 2 or 3) it stops and stay on 20v 0a (it-s not restarting ampmeter)
does this help to indentify what this can be causing ? Some mosfet that needs to heat up or something ?
