Wondering if anyone can help identify this component.
It is out of a Yamaha Golf Cart charger JW9-82107-03.

My best guess is a capacitor of 2200pF, or some sort of varistor. I can not find any info online for the marking. It reads a resistance of 3.5 ohms and causes the fuse to blow when in circuit. It sits across a relay contact on the 120V AC side before the main input capacitor. See Pic.

    Thanks!...

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

Well I have been lurking for a while and really appreciate the knowledge everyone shares!! Been dabbling in electronics and computers since I was a child, I remember hooking up a DC motor to mains as a child in the early 90's . Where were my parents? More recently i have decided to improve my knowledge by helping out friends and family with component cost only repair as I learn (Retirement Plan! lol) My day job is in IT, so I also get to take dead equipment from work and fix it.

    Anyway, Looking forward to being...
