Long story short: I tried to install the BIOS Update 2.08 on my Laptop which had version 2.01 on it beforehand. Did not make a backup. The Update failed, it froze in place and stayed that way for around 2 1/2 hours, after which I powered it down, I basically accepted my fate at that point.

Current situation: laptop powers on, keyboard flashes, fans spin up, screen stays entirely black. BIOS Flashing doesn't work in my tries.

I've had a history of it behaving weird. Around 9 months ago it would freeze randomly after transporting it in a backpack for 2 hours on public transport...
