  • hello all. I've tried many different bios files for my 1015A disk edition, edm010. to no success. the most recent one i used another IC from a 1015A and used that NOR modifier to change serial..making sure i chose 1015A and DISK. console turns on and sometimes takes the disk and copies it, then it wont accept a disk at all... im really lost at this point, this seems relatively easy, but i must be missing something... I'd like to be able to use my original BIOs file and just fix whatever error is there, but i've no clue. any help would be GREATLY appreciated

  • You don't NEED that cap. It's just a filter, but I've gone without it when I started working on ps5 and didn't have access to them.. So if you lose it, not a big deal.

  • Hello?.....…...is this thing on?

I'm Rj. 45 years young and a car/motorcycle/art /music enthusiast. Jack of all, Master of none!

Just started console repair last year. Learned ALLOT from the community and dang have y'all been helpful.. HDMI PORTS, ENCODER CHIPS USB PORTS, ANALOG STICKS on the controllers, etc.. Still having a hard time diagnosing with the multimeter(never been my strength, plus A.D.D never helps).

I still can't fathom how we as humans can create such things, but if it's broke, I wanna fix it!!

Can't wait to expand my horizons...
