I see. SOIC8 clip broke today, ordered one and it's coming in a few days. Will reply here if I'm not successful at unlocking the supervisor password with the bios[QUOTE=Maxpower3;n3465828][QUOTE=Tokeri;n3465813]

Tried to change hash from offset 00170000h length 430000,
Still getting the hash not matching error even after replacing hash according to guide
Attached are the old and new hash, the binary file after replacing with new hash, and UEFITools screenshot
My binary seems to be different to yours. Maybe upload your version and I'll try with that?

EDIT: didn't see the uploaded bios, my bad[QUOTE=Maxpower3;n3465661][QUOTE=Tokeri;n3465647]

So I tried following the guide, but hit an immediate roadblock. The hash range 970000h: DA0000h doesn't match with the hash ranges in the security tab in UEFITool:

  • Hi, I have used the search function copiously, and tried to follow a few leads in regards to getting a beep code of 0285, TCG-compliant functionality-related error (might be the TPM initialization failure). I've tried disabling TPM through powershell, tried autopatch script several times, and each time I try and boot with the modified BIOS I get a 0285 beep code. Using the dumped bios works fine. Any tips or knowhow on how to fix this? In UEFITool I found that the patched bios has a "FfsParser::checkProtectedRanges: Phoenix protected range [970000hA0000h] hash mismatch, opened image may...
