Sop and sop. Other ic "64" reads fine. Yesterday I was able to read the "128" a couple of times but every bin file had a different checksum. Today it won't read at all making me believe it has really died now. -

Hi,
I am looking for a version of NeoProgrammer, 2.1.0.19
According to info on winraid level1techs forum it is the only version that works good with the xm25qh128ahig when detecting/read/write.
Is it a good idea to expand this forum with a download section?

Trying with w25q128fv id. Seems w25q64fv does read something from the other chip. Found that suggestion on the winraid level1techs forum.
Update.
No go on the 128ahig. Used neoprogrammer and asprogrammer. Since this laptop came from a previous owner I'm guessing somebody messed with it. Here is the dump from the qh64ahig, verfied the md5....Leave a comment:

I get this error in neoprogrammer when trying to read: EN25Q128 [3.3V] IC not responding / Disconnected
In asprogrammer it does read for a few moment but zero content afterwards. Tried with and without cmos battery and different positions of clip....Leave a comment:

I've used asprogrammer to read the winbond chip twice and they are almost empty by the looks of it? There was no 25Q80DVN1G option only 25Q80DV. I made a mistake in my original post, needs to be 25Q80DVN1G instead of 25Q90DVN1G. Unfortunately I was not able to read the 24256E. Tried every possible position and _24Cxxx option from the menu. Verify IC> IC is not responding message. What am I doing wrong? Any help would mean a lot.

- reading eeprom since I have no programmer hardware. The affordable one isn't recommended according to the guide.
Looking on amazon as we speak for a ch341a with clip that is 3.3V capable. It is worth spending 10 euro's for a possible working laptop. Any brands I should stay away from?...Leave a comment:

bricked bios on thinkbook 15 g2 itl
Greetings,
I kindly request assistance with the following. My lenovo thinkbook 15 g2 itl has the following symptoms:
- blank screen
- no post
- fan running at 100%
- unable to enter bios
- on powerup with pinhole method the led's of the power button+esc key+caps key lights up green for a brief moment
I've tried:
- holding power button >30s while unplugged from ac+unplugged battery+unplugged cmos battery
- above with pin hole method >10s
Was willing to try:
