Bios works but i still cant control or change my fan speed on thermal management option in the bios and in any software for windows....

no. the original bios chip got physically damaged.
so i ordered a new bios chip from ebay and its working fine but theres a problem on thermals (fan barely spinning, restarting/hang problems).
the ebay chip image is the one i uploaded here.

Hi, Can you tell me what procedure you did on my bios image? did you clear the ME or something?
i flashed it on the chip and installed it on my laptop . i press power button it has the white led then it flashed the keyboard lights for 1 second then the charging lights lit up for a second too then repeat.
its been going on for 15 minutes now. ill try and wait for an hour or so.. thank you.
edit: i resoldered the chip and its still the same. can you please clean the bios file? thank you....Leave a comment:

Hi, i have a problem with my laptop and my original bios has master password enabled so i did the following:
1. desoldered my bios chip
2. managed to physically destroy my original bios chip (i know, it's my first time)
3. ordered a new bios chip from eBay
4. installed the new bios chip but it didn't ask me to enter a new service tag in manufacturer mode
5. has a pre-installed service tag and it worked but the fan is not spinning (cannot be controlled from bios or software) so i had thermal issues
6. windows always hang/lags so i pressed the power button...Leave a comment:

Dell latitude 5410 Bios damaged
Hi, i need help. is there something that i can do to repair my bios chip? its from a dell latitude laptop 5410.
theres a missing pin on it when i removed it and i know its my fault but i just want to learn to desolder smds. anyway, am i so out of luck here and should order online for replacement bios?
oh and i dont have any backups of my current bios. how can i reprogram another one without backups?

hi, thanks for taking your time to reply. i used your bios file and my laptop still wont boot up. its weird tho because..
1. the charger indicator lights up to [B]white [/B]when i connect to charger
2. when i connect the charger, the [B]keyboard lights go up for 15 seconds[/B] or so then it[B] shuts down[/B] with no display and [B]i cant press the power button again.[/B]
3. when i press[B] CTRL - ESC[/B] while putting the charger, [B]the keyboard lights stay on for at least 15 seconds [/B]and [B]then it restarts again and again[/B].
