i did what u posted in the 1st post and managed to bypass a bios password on a lenovo l480 using 8th gen intel cpu
the only thing i lacked was that python script, despite the fact i installed from the link provided in the tutorial , the cmd command told me it couldn't fint the python runtime
the i literally went to Microsoft store and got from there for free python and it WORKED
i flashed the patched rom , followed steps, and after that i re-flashed the original ROM and no password...
