A1707 820-00928 soldered on ssd detected/not detected.
When booting into net recovery i can only see disk image aprox. 2gb BUT when booting from external drive I can see the drive format it in disk utility etc.
Now the strange thing is that i cannot install through recovery since the drive is not detected and when trying to preform installation through external system by downloading image through app store it fails at some point every single time.
I also tried to format the drive to journaled and to apfs from DU and terminal and install with different systems but no luck.... -

Ok so if I add a serial number i get bkack screen and if I use the file from you without editing it boots fine but without serial number..can it make any performance or updates issues?...Leave a comment:

I can't upload the .bin file to here but its a file which I downloaded from ghostlyH by the EMC and the specifications of the computer so it should be just fine.
This is the SN from the bottom case: C02MV7FUG085 and this is the SN on board: C0242340CV9FY5CAP

I tried with the sn of the machine I added it to the line after ssn but no luck..is the serial number that in the .bin file is the same as the machine serial number?? I was sure it is a different SN..maybe the location I added it is wrong? New to the EFI flashing...Leave a comment:

I don't know what happened but the backup file of the BIOS is gone and I already erased the chip, now with a new dump it loads but stuck before login.
What is my possibilities here? -
MBA 11" Mid 2011 bad SMC
Hi guys,
I have this MBA 11" that came with issue on battery not recognised I checked all the lines and replaced the ASL + R7151 & R7152,
R7121 & R7122 and I got it recognised and charging but not fully, some times I get pulses of green and orange and show X on battery.
I came to a conclusion that the issue is from the SMC and I wonder if I buy an SMC chip from china will it be enough or it must be reprogrammed before use? -

No power indication at all, replaced Power supply and of course cable, but still no power going into the board.
The power supply gives power testing with multimeter but when plugged into the board it shorts out and doesn't show any power, its like if the logicboard is shorting the power supply.
I need schematic and boardview if im lucky, to test what shorten the board like that.
If anybody have experience with this im willing to pay for guidance. -
