    One last question:

I did some research online and found my BN94-02701G for $224.00 from Samsungparts.com.

Is that my only option other than trashing it?

    Thanks!...

Now it acts the same as it does whether it's plugged in or not. No activity except flashing stand-by light. No sound, pic, backlight. By 'plugged in' I mean the cable I just removed--not the a/c cable. Just wanted to clarify

Does this mean I need a main board?

    Thanks for all your help!!!

  • Need Help! Samsung LCD TV LN46C630

First post. Thanks for any help.

My Samsung LCD TV LN46C630 is totally unresponsive. I don't even get a click.

The standby light is on and will flicker a couple times if I try to turn the set on.

Now I have to tell you that I have had the flicker problem for some time but I lived with it because I assumed it was due to the fact that my signal comes through a little WD converter box so I can watch Netflix on the TV. Temporarily I only have Internet and no cable TV. Bad assumption. Between Google and this Forum I see that I am far from alone in the flicker...

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

Thank you for letting me be a part of your interesting forum.

I would post all my diplomas here as others have but then you'd have to get up and get your magnifying glasses so I'll save you that trouble.

Actually I am an A+ Certified Computer Technician but most of my life experience has been in photography.

My hobbies are target shooting and RC helicopters. I have come here to seek knowlege concerning my 3 year old Samsung LCD TV. I will post that info in the appropriate forum as...
