Re: Is this a reflow job?
Reflow GPU at 300C for 20 sec. If screen will show normal image replace GPU with new one.

It wasn't short. As atsio told you 11 ohms on Northbridge is normal.

Re: Emachines E640
Like Life Goes On told you, you must replace it. If you just reball it it will return to you very soon beleive me. The problem is not lead-free balls under the chip but inside the crystal.

Re: HP DV7-2120ed - no video - CAPS lock keeps flashing
Louis knows what he's talking about, you always have to replace a chip with new one. I always do and I have no returns at all. I know people that doing reballing and they have returns all the time. The problem with those chips is inside the crystal and not below it.
Consoles is a totally different story.

Re: HP DV7-2120ed - no video - CAPS lock keeps flashing
Those pins are dummy don't worry about them. 215-0674034 needs to be replaced, they are going bad very often. If you'll just reball it it will come back to you very soon.Last edited by PlusCom; 04-23-2015, 10:40 AM.
