Re: Hisense H50A6250UK
...from another post:-
All done. Lo and behold it was a blown LED.
If the remote had functioned I would have solved it in a fraction of the time...and wouldn't have bought spare parts.
So, anyone out there with same TV....don't rule out an LED failure when the TV won't even power on.
RDC55...I'm just doing this one as a favour. I'm not in the TV fixing game any more. Without your post, I'd still be wondering what on earth was going on. Many thanks.

Re: Hisense 50R6E
Thanks for that.
Interesting. Usually the tv operates as normal without backlights as far as I have ever known.
So, I guess I'll have to take the screen off and have a look inside...was really hoping not to do that.
Will update...

Re: Hisense 50R6E
Hi RDC55,
I've got a very similar Hisense tv with possible backlight problem. Did yours behave normally albeit with bad backlight or (like mine) refuse to even power up?
thx

Hisense H50A6250UK
Hi guys,
Above TV has red standby led which goes out when turning on via remote or button.
No backlights, no screen or response to remote thereafter. No apparent feint image visible.
Replaced power board and main board with exact same issue pertaining. stby voltage rises to 2.7v upon power up attempt. 12v present. I couldn't detect power to the LED array.
So, logic dictates:-
I got a bad board with exact same fault.
The TV recognises a backlight failure and stops dead.
Something else I'm missing.

Re: Toshiba 47L6453D LED Strip component
wouldn't it be better to turn them up to flush out the faulty one?...

Re: Toshiba 47L6453D LED Strip component
Removed that component...not really much of it left to remove.
Now the leds will sometimes:-
not turn on at all
turn on but go off after a few seconds
stay on
...completely at random.
All leds illuminate equally.

What's the worst that can happen if I just removed it?
close up pic added.
All leds on the strip and all others working ok....

Re: Toshiba 47L6453D LED Strip component
yes, any idea what to replace it with?
Or, is it suggesting a fault somewhere else that caused failure?Last edited by caveman11; 10-18-2019, 09:51 AM.

Sharp LC-43CFE6131K remote buttons switched
HI guys,
Just replaced the all in one main board on this LC-43CFE6131K and all is working well...
Except 3 buttons on the remote are interchanged..the fav, source and back buttons.
I cannot find the service menu access codes to possibly change remote settings if applicable...tried a few that I could find.
Main board numbers are correct.
Anyone have a solution to this?
Many thanks

Re: Samsung Ps50c680 2/6ths of screen black. Replaced y buffer. Scrap?
Good to have an unusual fault for debating.
Panel appears undamaged.
I haven't paid much attention to the x main...connections seem fine. The 4 tabs don't seem to be correlating to the banded area. Could there be something there?
