Re: Samsung PS42Q97HD
i did as you said. i unplugged the y main. it still had the 5 blinks, and the same when i unplugged the x main. then i unplugged what i believe to be the logic board. this didn't even power on the tv. so lastly i tried unplugging the control board and the tv turned on did the 5 blinks and then turned itself off. it then proceeded to turn itself back on and do the 5 blinks again. it kept doing this in like an infinite loop

Samsung PS42Q97HD
i have a 42" plasma tv sat here. the original fault was that there were red lines and dots on the screen. so i opened the back and saw that 16 caps needed replacing. so i obviously replaced all of the caps. i then tested the thing and it just came up with a blank screen. i turned off and on again and saw that the blue light flashed 5 times and then turned off. when i read up on this it said to change caps?? looked at the y main board and a few of the green 2A fuses needed replacing. so i did and i still get the 5 blinks and no picture. please help, thankyou
