Hi, br777 and budm, I just came on site looking about my 46 inch Samsung with nearly exact same type of problem, only differance is the spacing between the streaks. Is this something that is unrepairable? Thanks, geraposi

I did not see any pix before I got the backlights on and then I had this. There are two or three panels between the bulbs and the screen. I could have those reversed in order. Those ribbon cables could have touched the chassis while I was working on the bulb holders.Leave a comment:

Hi budm, I hope you are still with me. I received the new lamp holder and insulator and installed, I have lines on screen but no pix. Has sound and there is movement on the screen but no pix. Will send pix with this. Very dim, I'm sorry but I can get better pictures this evening if you need....Leave a comment:

The old board works fine. I hope Jimmy will let me return his board. Looks like a 20% restock and shipping. Will still save me a little. If I am able to reassemble this TV I will need to build a bulb testing setup for next time.Leave a comment:

It came from Shop Jimmy I thought they were top drawer. There is one thing I hadn't seen, there is a blue light under the power board at turn on and then it dims out after about ten or fifteen seconds.Leave a comment:

Hi all, Received replacement power inverter board and installed it with no change, still no backlight, has sound and amber logo turns white. The remote works and it changes channells just a dark screen. Do I need to check the bulbs? I havn't ever had a screen assy apart so I need some more help if I can get it.Leave a comment:

That is F601. It is good. You may be talking about R608 and R618, two resistors thatare hooked in parallel and connect to the negative terminals of the two 47ufd 450v caps, they are very low resistance and measure less than ohmLeave a comment:

The resistors you circled are color coded, red red orange, 22k. They are in parallel with each other and measure close to 11k.Leave a comment:
