even when seller states the board is in perfect working order?

Funny you mention that..... That's the first thing I look at when I see a VP6 on ebay. I see A LOT of them where the seller says the board works perfectly, but looking at thier pics, the caps are bloated and have vented... If the bidding was low on the item, I'll watch them and snipe them... Then recap and resell them. I haven't gone BP6 hunting in a while... I could use a BP6 though, I have a matching pair of 533 CPU's, and no board for them.<--- Badcaps.net Founder

just did a bp6 for a customer.
had the teapo caps but none bulging.
board had video artifacts and would reboot loop.
found 1.5v p-p of trash on vcore.
yep new caps fixed it.
so if i look for these boards i just assume they need recapping and buy cheap.Comment
