    Hello!

    I am replacing the booster IC (glass IC on the other side of the HDMI port) and I had to use a bypass chip I from Sourcely. I got everything set up and resolved the issue I was having from that (different line was OL) but now I am contending with this one. Is there something I can do to restore the signal?

    Attached is a photo with the pad in question that is supposed to supply the signal to pin 13 on the HDMI port. Tweezers where I am pointing to.

      I have an Acer Nitro 5
      Model Number: AN515-55 Part Number: NH.Q7NSI.001
      Motherboard: Compal GH51M LA-K861P Rev 1A with 1650 Ti graphics.

      My laptop was working fine until I made a grave mistake of changing the thermal pad and paste because my laptop was getting old and pretty hot. After changing and successfully testing temperatures, I was shocked when I tried to connect my external display, a 1440p 75Hz monitor, to it. My display never showed up; it always said 'no signal.'
