I have a MacBook Pro 13 inch [B]A2238 M2[/B] and it was stuck 5V with 0 amps. I measured some important lines and I found a short on [B]PP3V8_AON_MPMU_ISNS_VIN[/B], I tried injecting 1v and I saw heat coming from the [B]mPMU[/B] so I removed the pmu thinking that was the problem. I don't know why I didn't check the other side of the border but there it was, a shorted cap. I replaced the cap and the short was gone, so I reballed the PMU and put it on again but voltage was still stuck at 5V and the current was fluctuating between 0 and 0.45 amps. I would like to know the Jumper location for the 2 Amber 7 White Led Blink Code error. According to Dell 2,7 Led codes are for display or the Display cable failure. I didn't changed the display nor the cable. The issue happens only when restarting the machine from windows and from the BIOS. And when opening and closing the lid the display turns off and never turns back on. But the machine is working! I confirmed it by pressing the CAPS Lock key. Does anybody has this issue and fixed it by jumpering some fet near the display connector on the motherboard. If So Please Help...

I have a question regarding this laptop. Laptop came from my friend, completely dead. No reaction for power button, Adpater etc. Diagnosis: burned HIS mostfet from VRAMs. After replacing the mosfet, Laptop starts to power up, KB lights up for few second and switch off, laptop remain ON but no display. got an Acer Helios 500 Laptop (PH517-51) for diagnosing with a strange issue:

The laptop runs for a while (1-2 hours, sometimes less) and then suddenly shuts completely off, like someone pulled the power cord and restarts immediately after on its own.
If this happened once, then the laptop only runs for a few minutes until restart.
This happens regardless while staying in windows or uefi or in a linux environment.

At first I thought of a normal overheating issue, but as I monitored temps with HWInfo64, nothing seems very hot.

It powers on BUT:
* no display
* fan not spinning
* power led is on and battery led too (if inserted)
* no power consumption without battery, with battery 0.27A
* no shorted coil to ground
* +3VALW, +5VALW and +3VALW_PCH are present
* 3.3V on bios pin 1 is present
* 1.9V on PL302 coil
* I tried to flash bios with external programmer (CH341A) e nothing changed.

the proccesor fan spin slowly and the (RST) LED in post card is flashing.
i check the MOSFET and VCORE and its ok..
i replaced many proccesors and nothing haapend.
i tried to charge the bios many times and its the same result.
the ram1.8v is ok.
the south and north bridges voltage is normal.

I have this mini pc that doesn't want to start.
When I plug in the charger it goes into protection mode.

I check the input pins in resistance mode and they are not shorted.
But in diode mode its 0.174V

When I opened it up I saw something new, no input mosfet, just big diodes next to the charging port. I checked on the coils for shorts but didn't find anything suspicious. Only the CPU coils have low resistance but that should be normal because it's an 11th gen I7.

I've had this laptop for 8-9 years, and about a week back, it started malfunctioning. When I press the power button, the power LED comes on for about 5secs and turns off.
